In order to maintain a healthy skin, a proper facial cleansing is needed; as well a healthy diet and two liters of water per day to keep a hydrated skin. But sometimes this isn't enough, and here is when I ask you the following: how many times a day should we clean or wash our face?


How many times should you wash your face?

According to dermatologists and experts, we should wash our face twice a day, more than three times would be excessive and we could unbalance the ph and the natural shine of the skin. Do it only in extreme cases where the complexion is very oily. It is recommended to wash your face in the mornings and before going to bed. Keeping the cleansing as part of your skin care routine will make things easier for you!

What if I don't wear makeup?

Wash your face even if you did not wear makeup during the day because the skin produces oils that clog the pores and this can cause imperfections and acne. Don't wait until your face feels unpleasant to wash it, do it even if it feels fresh and clean.

How can you do it?

Wash your face with a soap, massage until you see the foam, apply warm water and dry your face with a towel. You can apply a sunscreen protector afterwards or a moisturizer that has UV protection. You can repeat the same process at night but change your moisturizer (you don't need sun protection when you are about to sleep).
