Paul Smith

Paul Smith  could be called a small British miracle. Thanks to his fashion style and extravagant accessories, Paul Smith earned a leading position among world fashion designers. He was born in 1946 in Nottingham and at the age of 18 he started working in a local clothing warehouse. In 1970 he opened his first store, but the turning point of his career came in 1976 when he worked as an advisor to an Italian shirt manufacturer and presented his first Paul Smith collection.

Boasting over 225 stores worldwide, Paul Smith made his mark on the British fashion industry for his introduction of high quality menswear and perfumes. Paul Smith was knighted in 2000 for his contribution to the British fashion industry and services for his country.
